چکیده
Abstract Investigation of cellular responses to thermal heat stress can lead identifying novel targets intervention tackle the increasing fertility decline due climate change-associated seasonal stress. We aimed study response granulosa cells Dry beef cows (n=11) were kept together during and subjected synchronization stimulation for follicular dynamics. Ovum pick-up (OPU) was conducted on all animals in winter summer. Once OPU-fluid settled, cumulus-oocyte-complexes (COCs) isolated form OPU fluid stored a -80 freezer after snap freezing. In addition, blood samples rectal temperature data collected each OPU. Environmental daily three weeks before using Florida Automated Weather Network. Data analyzed Glimmix procedure SAS. are presented as mean ± standard error mean. RNA extracted from five pools followed by library preparation sequencing (NovaSeq; Illumina). As expected, environmental conditions contrasting: average air (11.5°C vs. 27.5°C), max (16.9°C 33.7°C), relative humidity (83.5% 82.3%), temperature-humidity index (53.39 79.16) summer, respectively. Average higher (P = 0.03) summer (39.2 0.2°C) than (38.8 0.2°C). Of total differentially expressed genes, showed up down regulation 971 1038 transcripts, respectively compared season (Fold Change ≤ -2 or ≥ 2 FDR p-value 0.05). Those upregulated transcripts found be involved cell cycle division, death, steroid biosynthesis, progesterone mediated oocyte maturation meiosis pathways. conclusion, exposure induce significant alteration transcriptome which may have negative impact physiology.

متن کاملEffect of propylene glycol on fertility of postpartum dairy cows experiencing seasonal heat stress
The objective of this study was to evaluate effects of a daily oral drench of Propylene Glycol (PG) on fertility in dairy cows experiencing seasonal heat stress. In treatment group, cows (n=9) were treated with drenching 250 ml propylene glycol once daily from 3 to 15 days post-partum following the morning milking. Another group of cows (n=9) was selected as untreated control. The serum beta-hy...

This study aims to evaluate the oxidative stress during hot summer season using serum oxidative stress biomarkers and elucidate the effects of serum antioxidant vitamin levels in dairy and beef cows in a daytime grazing system. Blood samples were collected once a month from eight Holstein Friesian (HF) and 10 Japanese Black (JB) cows from November 2013 to October 2014. Serum values of derivativ...
متن کاملFeeding and Managing Cows to Minimize Heat Stress
Environmental-induced hyperthermia compromises e cient animal production and jeopardizes animal welfare. Reduced productive output during heat stress was traditionally thought to result from decreased nutrient intake. Our observations challenge this dogma and indicate heat-stressed animals employ novel homeorhetic strategies to direct metabolic and fuel selection priorities independently of nut...
متن کاملPlant Heat Adaptation: priming in response to heat stress.
Abiotic stress is a major threat to crop yield stability. Plants can be primed by heat stress, which enables them to subsequently survive temperatures that are lethal to a plant in the naïve state. This is a rapid response that has been known for many years and that is highly conserved across kingdoms. Interestingly, recent studies in Arabidopsis and rice show that this thermo-priming lasts for...
